The Origin of Our Curls
At La Ceinture Camargue, each belt buckle is born from a precise creative process, combining original design, artisanal manufacturing, and exceptional finishes.
From the initial sketch to the final piece, our buckles are developed with particular attention to authenticity and durability.
Some of them even become true unique pieces, when they are hand-painted by a local artist.

1. The Design: An Original Creation
All our buckles are designed in-house by ARMAÑO, the creator of La Ceinture Camargue.
Each design is conceived to reflect the Camargue identity and the authentic spirit of the brand.
Once the final design is approved, it is sent to our manufacturing partner who creates a dedicated mold, allowing for the subsequent casting of the buckles.
This process ensures that each model has its own imprint and unique identity.

2. A Solid Base: The Zamak Buckle
Our buckles are made of Zamak, a high-quality metal alloy primarily composed of zinc, aluminum, magnesium, and copper.
This material is known for its qualities:
- High resistance
- Precision in molding details
- Excellent durability over time
Zamak allows for solid buckles while maintaining a finesse of relief and finish, essential for showcasing each design.
This base constitutes the original imprint of our models.

3. The Artistic Signature: Hand-Painting
Some buckles are then entrusted to Sylvie Enjoleras, a painter based in Grau-du-Roi, near our workshop.
Known as S.A.P – Sylvie Art Painting, she has several years of experience in painting on metal supports.
Each buckle is entirely hand-painted, using paint specially adapted for steel and Zamak surfaces.
Once painted, the buckle receives a coat of high-resistance epoxy varnish, ensuring protection and longevity.
Each brushstroke makes the buckle unique.
Slight nuances may appear from one buckle to another, while retaining the same original design.

4. Protected Models
Once the buckle model is finalized, its design is registered with the INPI (French National Institute of Industrial Property) to protect the originality of its form.
This approach allows us to preserve our creations and guarantee the authenticity of our buckles.
It also reflects our desire to offer exclusive designs, developed specifically for La Ceinture Camargue

Our Signature
From design creation to hand-painted finish, each buckle follows a process where design, craftsmanship, and quality requirements meet.
It is this attention to every step that gives birth to unique buckles, designed to last.
